What is pension redirect and why should I consider it?

Pension redirect is the option to have some of your pension contributions paid into a Cushon ISA or GIA to help with saving goals other than retirement. Unlike a pension scheme, you can access your savings in an ISA or GIA before age 55 so they’re great for all those financial events that happen before you retire.

It’s an ideal option for those who have shorter-term saving goals but are struggling to build up that nest egg. Saving enough for retirement is still important and so with pension redirect you are still growing your pension whilst also building up accessible savings for those more immediate savings goals.
