'Start the conversation' this Talk Money Week

As employees face increased spending pressures and financial uncertainty, Talk Money Week (3rd – 7th November) offers employers a timely opportunity to take meaningful action on financial wellbeing.

For many of us, talking about money still feels uncomfortable. We find it difficult to open up about our finances, even when we know it could help. But that’s what Talk Money Week aims to change. This national campaign is about encouraging open conversations about money – from pocket money to pensions – and helping to normalise these discussions all year round.

Taking the first step

This year’s theme cuts straight to the heart of it: ‘Start the conversation’. Because sometimes the hardest part of any challenge is simply taking the first step. Starting a conversation doesn’t need to be perfect or comprehensive, it could simply be:

  • a quick chat about budgeting with a partner

  • speaking to a friend about your financial goals or

  • introducing the concept of savings to a child

Taking the first step towards action is what Talk Money Week is all about. But we want to help you go further.

Introducing our Talk Money Week webinar packages

This November, our specialist financial wellbeing team – Better with Money – are offering employers a range of webinar packages available for purchase that don't just encourage conversation: they provide the expert guidance and practical tools to turn those conversations into meaningful financial wellbeing support.

Each package includes our exclusive Talk Money Week webinar, delivered live to your employees, plus a supporting digital toolkit designed to help you make the most of the week – including a pension to-do list, budget planners, and more.

What we cover in the webinar:

  • How to talk to your partner about money and plan jointly for milestones like buying a home

  • Discussing tricky topics with parents and family – inheritance, Wills, and Powers of Attorney

  • Speaking to friends about financial challenges and tackling the “keeping up with the Jones’” mentality

  • Bringing children into money conversations early to build good habits

The ‘Start’ package – £880 + VAT

Kickstart meaningful money conversations in your workplace with our Talk Money Week webinar and digital toolkit, including a pension to-do list, budget planners, and more.

The ‘Thrive’ package – £1,620 + VAT

Combine the Talk Money Week webinar and toolkit (priced at £880 + VAT) with a half-day of 1-2-1 financial guidance sessions for your employees at a 10% discounted rate (usually £825 + VAT).

This package gives your employees the chance to benefit from both group learning and confidential, personalised financial support.

The ‘Build’ package – from £2,379 + VAT

Book the Talk Money Week webinar plus at least two additional Better with Money webinars and receive a 10% discount across the bundle (usually £880 + VAT per webinar) – you’ll also receive the supporting toolkit.

Perfect for employers ready to strengthen their financial wellbeing programme.

Ready to 'Start the conversation'?

Talk Money Week offers you a ready-made framework to introduce financial wellbeing support when your employees need it most.

Whatever package you choose, it’s an opportunity to show your people that their financial concerns matter and to help build a more productive and more resilient workplace.

Encourage your teams to speak up, seek support and take control of their financial wellbeing.

Better with Money financial wellbeing webinars and 1-2-1s provide information only, not financial advice. The aim is to provide the tools and knowledge to help your employees make their own informed decisions when it comes to their money.
