The Cushon Master Trust

The Cushon Master Trust is a trustee-governed workplace pension authorised by the Pensions Regulator. It was previously known as the Salvus Master Trust and was launched in 2012.

Scheme Trustees 

Dianne Day 

Dianne Day is a Client Director at Independent Trustee Services Ltd (ITS). She joined ITS in 2015, specialising in defined contribution (DC) schemes. Dianne holds the PMI Certificate in DC Governance and is an accredited professional pension trustee. Her trustee experience spans DC master trusts, single employer schemes and sole trustee roles. Dianne applies over 30 years of experience in investment management and member communications to the good governance of members’ pension benefits.

Roger Mattingly

Roger is the Chair of the Trustees of Cushon Master Trust and a Director at Ross Trustees Services Limited, part of Independence Governance Group. Roger is an Accredited Professional Trustee of many pension schemes of various shapes and sizes. He has spent his entire career in the pensions industry, is a Past President of the Society of Pension Professionals, sits on the Occupational Pensions Stewardship Council and is a Fellow of the Institute of Directors.

Paul Watson

Paul has a BA in Maths and Economics from the University of York and is an accredited professional pension trustee. He joined Capital Cranfield in 2019 after a career in investment consulting and financial services. Paul is a qualified actuary and has 20 years’ experience as a lead investment consultant, latterly as a Partner within Mercer's investment advisory business.

Katie Blacklock

Katie Blacklock has spent her career in financial services, initially as a portfolio manager specialising in Latin American equities and then as a partner at Nevsky Capital, a $7bn UK-based hedge fund manager. She is currently a non-executive director of Edmond de Rothschild, a European Private Bank and Asset Manager and sits on the advisory board of The Prudential Assurance Company's £130bn With Profits Fund. Katie is a Governor of the Health Foundation and sits on the Investment Committee that oversees the foundation's £1bn endowment.

Darren Agombar

Darren is CEO and founder of Connected Asset Management. Before founding Connected Darren co-founded and was Chief Investment Officer of Smart Pension Limited where he has shaped and developed the investment strategy. Darren has deep financial market experience stretching over 35 years and has held senior roles in banking, trading and investment management in London, Dubai and Tokyo. Darren has additional expertise in behavioural finance and economics and has applied this to coaching market professionals as well as developing quantitative trading models. Darren has a Bachelor of Science BS (Honours) Psychology from The Open University.
